FRUIT NINJA HD LITE - LET'S SLIDE SOME FRUIT

FRUIT NINJA HD LITE is a slide em' up game from halfbrick studio (The JETPACK JOYRIDE publisher and I also review it previous weeks ago, If you love the side scroll action game please read it here). Alright, let's get back to the FRUIT NINJA. The game play is very simple, slide the juicy fruits on the screen. The only 2 things that can end your game are the bomb which will be exploded if you slash on it and you must not let 3 fruits alive ( When the fruit is throwing in the screen, you must slash all of them, if you miss to slash 3 fruits the game will over).

With the simple game play , anyone can enjoy the FRUIT NINJA HD LITE , the game music also shows the battle field theme which rage your extinc to cut many juicy fruit but, please beware to cut on the bomb. One more fun thing is that, this game also support the combo and power up. In order to success the combo and gain extra points, You have to slash many fruits as possible in one sword swing (I did it 5 in a row, How about you?).

FRUIT NINJA HD LITE also support the multiplayer game play in the Zen mode and Online Dojo (Unfortunately the Online dojo only available in full version so I'll skip on this one :p), In Zen mode you can challenge your friend to join the fruit slash duel! After the match is started, The screen will be divided in to 2 side. One screen on the bottom for yours and the reversed screen for your friend, Let's cut through and see who will win!

FRUIT NINJA HD LITE also support the unlocks and achievements system, I just unlock one disco blade this morning, it is a blade which waving in a disco style. For those who bored of the common ninja sword and wanna be a disco ninja should try this. About the achievements, there are so many achievements can be done in this game. They are very challenge and also improve your skills in the same time.

KUNG FU WARRIOR - THE DEAD COMBOS AWAKEN.

Imagine that you are the KUNG FU fighter who lives with your KUNG FU master. One day, a gang of evil ninjas appear and they assassinate your master. You can remember clearly that the person who kills your master is the big ninja who equips the giant shuriken on his back. The only thing pins in your head right now is to make them pay with your KUNG FU. Now its time to revenge!

KUNG FU WARRIOR is an action game that could motivate your KUNG FU instinc. You can beat your enemies with a deadly combo and special moves with the greatful graphic in a comic style. This game has been created by triniti interactive (the publisher of heroes vs monsters and Dino cap 2 which I wrote the reviews 1-2 weeks ago). triniti has experienced in many action game projects so it can guarantee that KUNG FU WARRIOR will include many improved things and more fun!

KUNG FU WARIOR can attack and defense with 3 buttons and they can combine to a deadly combos as well. The first button is weak attack , you can do a chain combo by pushing on the weak attack 3 times. Second hard attack, the Kung Fu warrior will use his inner power punch straight to the enemy and sometimes it 1 hit kill! and the last one is defense & counter button, the kung fu warrior will guard up against every melee attacks and he will attack back to his enemies!

UNLOCKING combos and power-up, Once you beat villians, More experiences you will gain. KUNG FU WARRIOR offers the unlock to the combos and power-up. The combos can be unlocked by leveling your characters. Each combo shows the combination of great moves and has their own usage. Next, the power-up can be unlocked by collecting a cash and unlock them. This thing is also important since it will passively upgrade your character's defensive and offensive. So you have to upgrade both of them in order to beat the raid boss in some levels.

WIND UP KNIGHT HD - THE KNIGHT TALE WITH HIS SPRING

 Well.. we got a bad news here, the pricess has been kidnapped again. WIND UP KNIGHT  is a story of a knight who got a spring on his back. In order to activate is power is to wind up the spring. Our knight gets the boring order from his king, "lol rofl please bring back my daughter who been kidnapped by the dark evil knight". So, this is our task now. Wind up your knight, let's help the princess!

WIND UP KNIGHT is a side scroll action game. You must control the knight who has ambition to save the princess. He will runs until the end of the stage, you need to help him to avoid traps and monsters. You can command him to roll,jump, attack, shield up and more. One another funny thing in this game is during the loading screen it will show a pretty princess primer tips like "The princess does not like complaint" or may be "The nice pricess should wear a skirt". It make me laugh everytime when I read them.

WIND UP KNIGHT also contains so many unlock items which you can get them after beating each stage (The knight will have a tale books describing about each stage). You can gear the knight up by collecting a gold coin from the stage and buy new equipments.(For the example, you can buy the new sword which casts a fire ball after each attack. The shield which turns enemy to stone when shield up). More over, this game also support the achievement system. You can collect a card hidden in some stage to complete achievements or unlock other new items as well.

"Wind-up Knight is similar to bit.trip.runner in that the character runs automatically and you use certain skills (such as jumping) to get through the obstacles in your way. The controls are very solid once you get used to them (which only takes a few tries). Once you do get used to them, it becomes a very rewarding game of trial and error. The only downside to Wind-up Knight is that the frame rate on the iPhone 4 is not that great, although I'm sure it's much smoother on a 4S. Hopefully they will update it soon! Other than that it's a fun little game with excellent controls!  "

PIRATE GUNNER HD - PIRATES ON THE ROCK

PIRATE GUNNER is a puzzle game from black pearl games limited (If we look from the publisher's name. It maybe their first game). The gameplay is about the epic battle in the sea. we have to take a role as captain of the pirate group, "The red beard" Each time you set sail, it means that you are going to face your enemy!

PIRATE GUNNER shows the battle scene in a real-time animation. In order to fire the cannon from your ship, you will have torch and a cannon ball. What you have to do is solve the puzzle which let the fire run though the cannon. There are 7 cannons, if you can fire all of them simultaneously, More damage you will do to your opponent.

PIRATE GUNNER offers 3 modes of game play:
First the story mode, You have to set sail to each level and fight against the enemies (sometimes they're pirates, marines , fortress and the most evil things are sea monsters!!). After you clear each level, you will get some rewards and achievements. The next one is the puzzle mode, the puzzle mode is a mode for the people who loves to solve a puzzle. At the start of each stage, the pirate girl will give you fragile fuse which will make you confuse but if you are cunning enough, you have to solve that puzzle with the limited move to fire the cannon. Here we go to the last one, the arcade mode, Its like a survival mode in another game. You have to prove how great you are to survive in a madness sea. After you finish you can also compete you rank with your friends online as well!

CUT THE ROPE is a very popular puzzle game series from ZeptoLab. The aims for this game is to put the candy inside the green monster's mount, his name is "OM NOM". But the way to complete this puzzle game is not that simple. In each stage, the candy will be place somewhere on the screen with some ropes tight on it. you have to cut the rope to make candy fall down to his month. Cut the rope experiment is the latest version of this game. The story of this episode is about our green monster has been sent to the whacky doctor's lab. Once the doctor finds the green monster, he is so excited and starting some experiment with it. So it your tasks to complete each of his experiment by putting the candy in our green monster's mount. This version provides several new levels, challenges and tools. For the example, there is a sticky gun which fire the rope binds to a candy and it's currently free if you never play it, it is the time to grab it now :).

Cut the rope experiment free also support the achievements system, in each stage, there are 3 stars flying on the screen. If you would like to complete the stage with the highest rank. The candy must be swinged,fall or float through every stars.

BATTLELAND WARRIOR VS MONSTER HD - THE FANTASY BEGINS

BATTLELAND WARIOR VS MONSTER is the innovated RPG game published by KONGZHONG (Not sure where the publisher comes from but this game is very fun especially if you love a RPG game. The story of this game is like another RPG story, It is the story about the peaceful world which has been conquered by the dark troops , we are the wariors who must save this world from the invasion (Aww.. come one, please make something difference.). However, what's important in this game is not a story but the battle system which make me decide to play it.

BATTLELAND WARRIOR VS MONSTER burns your time with it the interesting single player mode. There making each stage in the board game play, you have to roll a dice then your character will move to the panel straight away. You can  find some monsters , item , HP/SP recovery, blessing, hidden legendary item shop , etc. in the panel. At the end of each stage you must beat the boss before passing the level, that's the rule. You can also collect loots, item, gold coins from the stage. You can also upgrade your equipments in the blacksmith as well.

In order to equip the high rank equipments, you have to increase your level to fulfill the requirement. Each skill will be unlocked for each character's level. You can set up to 5 skills to your character.

BATTLELAND WARRIOR VS MONSTER supports multiplayer gameplay.  It allow you to fight against another warriors world wide. Setup your equipments, skills then beats your opponent, There is the rare rewards when you beat them.

Army of Darkness Defense HD - CLATU VERATA NECKTIE!

The army of darkness reborns again since it was a popular movie in 1992. The game story is about the warehouse name Ash who is pulled through the time portal to AD 1300.
He is captured by Lord Arthur's men,they brought him to the castle. According to the wiseman, the only way to to send ASH back to his time is to steal the necronomicon ( The book with the evil face) from the skull island.In order to get that book Ash must also cast the spell "CLATU VERATA NICTO" but he says it incorrectly which is the beginning of the disaster!  The army of the dead is revived , they plans to conquer the world. So its Ash responsibility to protect the necronomicon and also fight against the army of the dead.

You will play as ASH, the warehouse. Who comes with the weapons from 21st century (He also has a shotgun in his lefthand, and the chainsaw on the right hand). The genre of this game is castle defense, you have to defense the castle from the darkness troops, The enemy will getting stronger in each level.

In order to improve your castle defense levels, you can upgrade several things below:
1.Units, There are 11 diverse types of unit. Some of them can use to support each other, for the example, The fire man will torch a light to Archers' arrow. The swords runner who gives the real sword to pleasant.

2.Skills, There are 6 skills in this game and (some) of them are very useful ( Such as, the spell "Clatu verata Necktie!" which heals all party members and respawn the random reinforce units). Another skill that I use it many times is the catapult rocks which will splash the damage and also add the burning effect.

3.Castle Upgrades, By adding catpult, archers, trap pit and upgrade the blacksmith to increase your economy.

"Love the game and wish I could give a 4.5, because I have one very little complaint. So once I beat all the waves, I moved onto endless mode, which was awesome until recently. I struggled and struggled to get high scores (I think my top was 6 million) before this game. Now, all of a sudden I guess I've reached the threshold on my upgrades, where my guys are simply too powerful, and I can't get them to die if I try. I'm sitting in a game at 300M points and no one ever dies. I have so many dudes in there that the little wizard dude is able to heal them completely before any of them die. Not only that, once you have like 50 dudes (I think I have over 200 in there), the processor on the iPad starts to struggle and the game lows down drastically. Like I said, small complaint. I love this game. I don't even know what I would recommend as a fix. I guess I can rush Ash into the heart of the battle and try to die, but I can't bring myself to do it!"

WHERE'S MY WATER - FRESH WATER IS HIS LIFE

This puzzle game is published by DISNEY MOBILE (Repeate!, the game from DISNEY!). The game story is about the crocodile crocodile who lives luxury under the sewer. This croco has so many friends who lives in the dirty sewer and does not love to take a bath but our croco is different. He  has his own private bath room! But as you know, The circumstance of the sewer under the city is horrible , He cannot take a bath since there's no fresh water pass into his bath room.  The obstacles are broken pipes and the clay along the way to his bathroom. Its your task now to dig the clay and let the fresh water pass into the pipe to make him happy!

The game play is quite easy , Dig down the path and let the water pass through the pipe then the fresh water will fall into his bath room. In the clay, there's a duck which you have to hydrate it with the water in order to gain an extra score (it acts like a challenge stars in  Angry Birds). Sometimes, you must beware before digging to some path, you might lost all of your water!!

 In the free version, there is some special level which does not appear in the paid version. You can also unlock the levels by finding the rare item hide in the clay. I hope you will enjoy this game :)

"Really well presented game. Lovely visuals and soundtrack is unobtrusive. Mostly a pleasure to play. Very tempted to buy full version. Two quibbles. First. Why so many permissions? Wifi is definitely not a requirement of any singleplayer game. Second. Accurate swiping is needed to get the best scores. Sadly, I have big fingers and cannot see where the 'dig' will start. Only the niggles cause minus one rating star. Other than that - PLAY THIS GAME !"
